Rawlins Community College is a comprehensive upper school and community college based in Leicestershire. The college provides a large range of courses including GCSEs, A-Levels and vocational based training. They also provide evening classes.

The requirements for the new website included an easy to use and intuitive navigation, incorporation of a content management system, concise contact details and integration with existing external databases, whilst also ensuring the site complies with recent government DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) and legal requirements for UK websites.

The new website contains a wealth of information that would have usually been sent out by other means and at great expense to the College. The new site works as a communication tool between the college, pupils and parents and allows them to feature continually changing information on courses, grades, homework, events, general information about the college, facilities available and general contact details.

The site also contains password-protected areas for both parents and pupils that contain specific information on courses, grades and downloadable documents.
